Covid-19 Response

We are back to normal office hours but nothing is normal about the extra precautions we are taking to ensure the safety of our patients and team members. We are confident you will understand and appreciate the additional practices we have implemented:

Pre-Screening Before Your Appointment

You can expect to be contacted by phone call and/or text before you come. We check with all patients about whether they have noticed any Covid-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has Covid-19 in the past 14 days. If there is any concern about a patient’s health, we encourage them to stay home until they are more comfortable coming to see us.

Before You Come

Patients should brush and floss at home prior to the visit.
You may want to bring a jacket as the office may be cool. Our team members are wearing extra layers of protective clothing which can make them a bit warm. We regret that we can no longer provide comfortable blankets for patients to use.

When You Arrive

If you feel safer waiting in your car, please call us at 972-306-2273. We will let you know when to come in.

As soon as you enter, we will take your temperature and ask some screening questions. We also take the temperature of anyone who comes with the patient. We take the temperatures of team members and check on their health every day.
We have limited reception seating to maintain social distancing. Consequently, we are limiting the number of guests who can arrive with and wait for patients. A minor can come with one parent or guardian. Please do not bring any additional children to the office if they are not scheduled for an appointment.
All patients and guests must wear a mask in all areas of the office except while being treated. If you do not have a mask, we can provide one. The mask should cover the nose and mouth.

Infection control has always been a top priority for us and we continue to follow all the CDC and OSHA guidelines for dental offices. We maintain our strict sterilization protocols while continuing to review and upgrade our policies to protect us all from the spread of Covid-19.
All touchable areas are wiped down regularly with a disinfectant to reduce the spread of infection.
We have removed all magazines and toys from the reception area for infection control.

And sadly, we are no longer able to hand a fresh rose to each patient at the end of their visit.

Like you, we hope life returns to normal soon. Until then, we appreciate your support of these necessary safety measures. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon!
