Dr. Flower uses the most advanced techniques and technology to create beautiful all porcelain crowns that are durable, comfortable and natural looking. Although teeth are designed to last a lifetime, it’s an unfortunate fact that sometimes they get severely damaged due to cavities, trauma, grinding or even normal functioning. As long as enough foundation is still intact, it may be possible to “save” that tooth with an artificial tooth or a “crown” (also known as a “cap”) that attaches to the tooth root.
Dr. Flower’s goal is to return even the most damaged mouths to full health. We can craft a crown to repair a single tooth, multiple teeth (including full dentures), or in conjunction with a dental implant, to fill the space of a missing tooth.
If the nerve of the tooth is damaged, it will need to be removed via a procedure called a root canal. After the living pulp of the tooth is gone, the tooth becomes brittle, fragile and susceptible to cracking which can result in the loss of the tooth. To avoid this outcome, any tooth that undergoes a root canal should be protected with a crown.
