Education

Before becoming a dentist in Carrollton TX, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University and then graduated dental school from Pacific University in San Francisco. After dental school, I completed my residency in Seattle, Washington. I’ve lived and worked in the state of Texas for eight years and have been practicing dentistry for 10 years.

Emphasis on Overall Health

At Flower Dental, we work hard to promote total health and wellness in Carrollton, Texas, and surrounding areas. Considerable research shows how the health of the mouth affects the overall health of an individual. For instance, gum disease can increase your risk for cardiovascular disease, bacterial lung infections, stroke, pregnancy complications, and even Alzheimer’s disease. In turn, diabetes, osteoporosis, and medications can increase your risk for developing problems in the mouth. Furthermore, the underdevelopment of the upper and/or lower jaws can directly impact sleep-disordered breathing which can result in any number of physical, behavioral and cognitive conditions. My team and I are committed to understanding and supporting your dental and overall health.

Personal

My wife, Roshana, and I met in 2015 and are expecting our first child this winter. We have two dogs, Carl and Otis. We moved from Dallas to Plano two years ago to surround ourselves with family and friends. In my spare time, I enjoy watching football games, traveling with my family, and building furniture for our home.
